A few weeks ago i wrote a blog called "whats all the fuss about" and i believed everything i said at the time however on friday i still found myself watching the royal wedding not once but twice. I woke up and because my mum had been waiting for weeks for this day it had to be on the TV. The way she was acting it could have been her day.
It had been on for two hours by the time i woke up. I was dissapointed that it wasnt finished. I hoped it would be. But i dont have much luck so it was just starting with the guests arriving and going into the church. I thought this part was a waste of time really. The only person everyone really wanted to see was Kate.
Well not really Kate but her dress. I did really like her dress i must admit. It looked a little bit like my mums dress. I just found the whole day cute. They looked really happy but i still believe they should have been allowed to spend the day privately without all the press and public there. It was a lovely wedding though and i think it cheered everyone up that day. xxx
Ooooh a cop out Nicola, proclaiming you were going to ignore it but falling under the spell of the royal fairytale.
ReplyDeleteEach to their own is a fair position to adopt, but what about the huge cost to the public, both for the ceremony and their future lift living off the public list?
