My day in the sun

I was very happy yesterday. It was my day off college and it was sunny. Its always fun when its your day off and you wake up to the sun. Due to the fact it was a glorious sunny day my friend Ashleigh decided to have a barbeque. Before i headed up too her house i had to get the vital ingrediant. The alcohol of course. I went up to my friends house and headed outside. I was then handed bbq things to try and cook with( dont ask what it was called). Now i should let you know that i dont know anything about cooking and therefore basically just flipped things around and hoped that the stuff cooked. Luckily my friend Russell came and helped me or veryone may have been poisoned. After everything was cooked we got to eat yeah!! :). My friends Hayley and Kirsty were still not there they were an hour and 45 minutes late. Thats terrible. They finally arrived and had to go to the shop for juice. So we went on a little adventure to the shops for Kirsty. We came back they had food and headed to hayleys. At hayleys there was much drinking and chatting. It was a really good day.

However the point of this blog is to warn you all about sunstroke. I was out in the sun all day and didnt think anything bad of it because there was a breeze. It was breezy but even in the breeze it was still roasting and now i am suffering the effects of sunstroke. At first i was confused and thought the alcohol had worn off and i was suffering another hangover. However i have researched and i have all the symtoms. I have a banging headache, im very irritable and im as hot as a fire. My skin is burning. Therefore i am warning you all to be very careful and wear a hat and get under the trees in the shade and stay there. also drink lots of water not alcohol. :)

Also lets hope i cope in Bulgaria :) xxxxx

  1. It is amazing how easy it is to burn even in Scotland, and the best thing to do is eat least put a low factor on your skin all summer.
In hotter climes anything up to 50spf if you are a fair skinner Scot is a must.
You can only learn from personal experience what works best for you. But hats are very neccessary to avoid the effects of strong sun beating down on your napper!
enjoy Bulgaria which I am sure you will if sensible!
