As you may have guessed this blog is about the royal wedding. Im basically writing this because in my opinion i really dont know what the fuss is about. As far as i can see they are just two people getting married. They may be in the royal family but who cares. In my eyes they are just a normal family and a wedding should be a private occation which makes me even more angry as it is being shown all over the tv.
There is even an official website. Just one word why!!!. I know some people have an interest in this but not everyone should have it being rammed down their necks.
The wedding will be on almost every channel and all over the news and will be a holiday. There is no need!!
I totally agree, why should we miss a valuable day at colege for a wedding that doesn't involve us. I was talking to my mum about and she said it's the royal family, William is heir to the throne but they're not the ones who raises taxes, well maybe if for massive weddings. I would rather get more time at college, but because of this wedding I can't have that.

ReplyDeleteso go one stage further and argue the case for the monarchy versus republicanism or vice versa? Take the idea of the wedding and extend the concept to its logical conclusions.
